THE WATCHERS DINING SET

Seeking harmony between architecture and furniture, this set incorporates high backs and paralell lines in the chairs. The turned legs accent the circular columns in this home and help tie the set and its surroundings into a unified sculptural presentation. This set is designed to be both comfortable and to engage the user with both its functionality and as a composite sculpture. This interpretation has won numerous design awards. Koa/wenge table 42 x 64; chairs 45 x 22d x 20w.

Table is available now, at $7800.00. Chairs are by order only at $1850.00 each. Armchairs are currently being designed.

SUSPENDED GLASS TEMPLE TABLE

Blending the practicality of glass with the warmth of koa wood , this table has a lot to offer. The 3/4" thick polished glass is suspended on ebony keys that are dovetailed into the Koa frame which is in turn, suspended above the main frame of the table base. This table has been made in a wide variety of sizes to suit different needs and is avalable with of without a lower shoji shelf. I have matching end tables also available. This table measures 16 x 54 x 32; $4750.00

The Small Shoe Bench

When you enter a home in Hawaii, it is customary to remove your "slippers" at the door.   This piece is an elegant reminder and also stores the interim collection of footgear.  The design is bold enough to stand alone in an entry as functional art.  18"h x 32"l x 16"d  from selected koa.  ($1750.00 includes crate.)

The Kyoto Temple Coffee Table

The lines of this piece were inspired by the exquisite stone walls  in Kyoto, the outsweeping curve of the leg is found on the main temple walls there. The shoji grid which serves as a shelf plays with the light, casting shadows that give this piece a larger presence.  This model is supplied with a 3/4" thick glass top which measures 3' x 4'.  This design has been produced in a wide array of sizes and has accompanying end tables done either with glass or koa top.

Serenity Side Table    Concepts presented in one piece will often find application in another.  Originally presented in a dining table, this adaptation of the brush-stroke leg is combined with a very light lower shelf. The top is made from select bookmatched koa and is slightly bowed on all edges.  This particular version is 54L x 14W x 30H.

The Floating Top, Suspended Glass Coffee Table

This table combines the practicality of glass with the warmth of wood.  The glass is suspended on ebony keys  dovetailed into the Koa frame.  There is a 3/4" space between rail and glass to make the feeling of suspension complete. This version is  28 x 53 x 16. Matching end table are also produced.  $3000.00 SOLD

The Rocking Chair Side Table

Finally a table designed to accompany my signature rocking chair "Lunch With Frank" .  The front leg of the rocker is repeated in this piece and the interlocking grid has the same detail as the rocker crest. The tops are highly figured bookmatched koa, surrounded with ebony inlay, and then  framed with solid koa.  18" x 24" x 23"h .
